Shithawks 02:08
"Shithawks" Lyrics by: Tim Doering I heard you say that we need a new plague Too many people and we're running out of room If only somehow you could wipe out the masses Of people you feel do not meet your standards But there is something I've noticed about your standards They never seem to include you! That isn't fair, you should insert yourself Into the equation of who to be culled You should go first and show us how it's done If your cause is worthy you should be first in line If that's how you feel you should lead by example Lead by example and take your own life You contribute to the very same problem A fact that you seem oblivious of You'd gladly volunteer the demise of strangers With no self-realization that you're one in the same You're just another piece of shit on the shit pile Another drop of filth in the cesspool Another parasite sucking dry The very same planet that you want to cleanse You should go first and show us how it's done If your cause is worthy you should be first in line If that's how you feel you should lead by example Lead by example and take your own life You should go first and show us how it's done If your cause is worthy you should be first in line If that's how you feel you should lead by example Lead by example and take your own life Think of the press if you'd just take that leap! Think of the press! Think of the press if you'd just take that leap! Think of the press! You should go first and show us how it's done If your cause is worthy you should be first in line If that's how you feel you should lead by example Lead by example and take your own life You should go first and show us how it's done If you're so quick to volunteer the rest of us to die If that's how you feel, you should go fuck yourself You should go fuck yourself, you should fuck off and die!

"You Selfish Fuck" Lyrics by: Tim Doering You want to drug test people on welfare Despite the fact that any tax money we'd save Would be more than offset by the cost of the drug tests But you don't care, you just want to punish the poor And you're against universal healthcare 'Cause God forbid you would have to wait in line at The doctor's office behind a single mother on food stamps 'Cause you don't care, you just want to punish the poor You subscribe to a "fuck you, I've got mine" philosophy "Life's not fair" but you've got yours! I'm sure you've earned everything you've been given You'll never need anybody's assistance As if you could never lose your job Or wake up with cancer (What if you got cancer?) You better look in their shopping carts to Police the purchases of the people on food stamps To make sure they don't buy anything decadent 'Cause you don't care, you just want to punish the poor You'll ignore statistics showing The majority of people on government programs Are elderly, disabled, or actually working 'Cause you don't care, you just want to punish the poor You subscribe to a "fuck you, I've got mine" philosophy "Life's not fair" but you've got yours! I'm sure you've earned everything you've been given You'll never need anybody's assistance As if you could never lose your job Or wake up with cancer (What if you got cancer?) We aren't trying to make winners losers Or take away any of your accomplishments We're just trying to level the playing field In hopes that one day it will even the score But you selfish fucks don't want to hear that There is enough wealth to go around 'Cause you would rather hoard it all to yourself And continue to punish the poor You subscribe to a "fuck you, I've got mine" philosophy "Life's not fair" but you've got yours! I'm sure you've earned everything you've been given You'll never need anybody's assistance As if you could never lose your job Or wake up with cancer (What if you got cancer?)

Nailbiters 03:43
"Nailbiters" Lyrics by: Tim Doering The plant is closing... And everyone's getting laid off The team is relocating... There's nobody left to root for There's nobody left to love except you There's nobody left to love except you It's election season... And everyone's lying to me Everyone... They're all lying to me We've accomplished so much... And yet we still have so far to go And it could so easily all be undone... I have no one left to trust except me I have no one left to trust except me This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails Down to the skin, down to the bone if all else fails This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails And nobody's listening... They're just waiting for their turn to speak I'm guilty of this too... But so are all of you This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails Down to the skin, down to the bone if all else fails This world this world it makes me want to bite my nails

Thoughtful 01:42
"Thoughtful" Lyrics by: Tim Doering If I don't wear studs, so fucking what? Remind me again what the rules are for punk Hipster elitists are checking their lists They follow the fashion but claim anarchist I don't know what I expected Guess I gave you too much credit I thought we were better than this Shit out of luck, don't give a fuck I don't really hate you, I just think you suck You're full of shit and I'm sick of it You can't fire me, I fucking quit I don't know what I expected Guess I gave you too much credit I thought we were better than this You are a fraud whose logic is flawed Your condescension's the last fucking straw You're full of shit and I'm sick of it You can't fire me, I fucking quit Your opinions are worthless And I didn't deserve this I thought we were better than this

For once the news affects us, people cry for justice Amid the protests, dodging rubber bullets and tear gas For once we could unite against a common foe If only there weren't so many busy changing the channel They shit-talk those who make a difference They don't get it, they don't get it at all Sitting in their ivory towers while the summer streets are bleeding Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot at They're all crying "Why is your cause more important than my cause?" Everyone's asking where's my riot If only we could focus, the things we could accomplish Cameras hold the answers, videos don't lie We should be asking questions, we should be asking why Yet so many ask why don't just get over it They shit-talk those who make a difference They don't get it, they don't get it at all Sitting safe behind a keyboard, all the kids are tweeting Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot at They're all crying "Why is your cause more important than my cause?" Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot at They're all crying "Why is your cause more important than my cause?" Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot Everyone's asking where's my riot at They're all crying "Why is your cause more important than my cause?" Everyone's asking where's my riot

about

This is the first official Tracing Wires EP. The first three tracks have guest drummer Joe Meyer as we did not have a drummer at the time we started recording them. These are also the first songs recorded with Dani. The last two tracks were actually previously released in 2015, but we wanted to include them as well so the EP wouldn't only be three songs, so they were remastered for the effort. Those two songs have our first drummer, Robert. Dani wasn't in the band yet.

The title of this EP, "Arguing On the Internet", is from the fact that one of my favorite pastimes is arguing politics on the internet. Pretty self-explanatory, and especially relevant with tracks like "You Selfish Fuck" and "Where's My Riot".

We hope you enjoy this! Tell your friends! Like us on Facebook! -Tim
